About Our President

Sonia Munoz is a multi-lingual attorney admitted to the Florida Bar with experience in litigation and legal counsel, research and writing in both the private sector and the judicial system.

Ms. Munoz's passion, dedication, and talent have led her to become an active role model and leader in the legal community. She graduated with a Juris Doctorate with a specialization in International Commercial Law from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Ms. Munoz also studied European Business Law at the Faculte du Droit in Montpellier, France, and the Universiteit du Leiden, in Leiden, The Netherlands. Prior to that, she graduated from the University of Miami with a double major in Psychology and Political Science with high honors.

In addition to working as a Political Analyst with a Top Secret Clearance from the CIA, Ms. Munoz has traveled extensively, having resided and worked in the European Union and for the International Court of The Hague in The Netherlands. She has co-authored a bench book regarding International law and its application and effects on domestic court hearings, conducted and participated in conferences with State Senators and Representatives, and interviewed former President Bill Clinton on a globally-televised program where she represented American college students.

Ms. Munoz is barred in several courts including State and Federal District Courts of Appeals. Her background as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge Stevenson in the 4th District Court of Appeals gives her a special insight into the Judge's view and considerations of cases. As a judicial clerk at the Court of Appeals, Ms. Munoz drafted appellate judiciary briefs and judiciary opinions for cases involving criminal, civil, and business law. Because of this, her extensive travel and cultural awareness, and her extraordinary commitment to ethics, Ms. Munoz is a fierce and vocal advocate for the rights of immigrants. She has been published in newpapers all throughout the US, and has been interviewed on local radio and television as an immigration expert.  You can view some of the articles she has written here.
